There was a bigger turnout this year than in recent years, owing to a larger representation of the Slaughter line of descent, pictured above in a group portrait and partially represented in the lineage diagram above. Even the rain didn't deter the group. Elwood Massey led the formal ceremony, and Valerie Eaton reviewed the progress of organizing, documenting and communicating on line. The fellowship continued afterwards at a rented lodge where a number of out of town visitors were staying.
